Overview

Trainee Designer (Construction) – Birmingham (In House role - 5 days a week)

Laboris Solutions are pleased to be working with a client who have doubled turnover in the past 12 months and aren't slowing down. They have recently employed a Design Manager who has transformed their design department and looking to bring someone onto their team who wants to go on the journey.

Base pay range

Salary £25-40k (based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Working within design department
• Assisting design team in production of accurate schedules from project drawings for manufacture and ordering
• Assist designers with production of project drawings
• Uploading and downloading of project design information
• Assisting in the production of As Builts for O & M manuals
• Work to project programme deadlines
• Based in office at Birmingham (no hybrid working)
• Full time 40 hour working week (8am-5pm typical hours - but can be adjusted)
• Autocad software skills essential
• Basic Office 365 and Outlook skills needed
• Understanding of roofing, cladding, or full envelope construction and systems desirable
