Job summary

Building-Transformation is seeking an experienced Roof Repair & Maintenance Engineer to deliver high-quality roof maintenance, inspections, and repairs across client sites in the Southeast region. You will work hands-on to diagnose defects, perform repairs and ensure safety at height while keeping detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of roofing systems.
• Diagnose faults, leaks and failures and implement durable solutions.
• Undertake roof inspections and condition surveys with clear reporting.
• Complete general repairs including patching, sealing, flashing, and refurbishments.
• Work safely at height with appropriate access equipment and in line with health & safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site and provide clear updates.
• Identify and report additional defects or opportunities for further works.
• Maintain accurate job records, reports and completion documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support service delivery and follow-on work.

Building Transformation are a niche external building fabric access and maintenance company based in Bedford, working predominantly in the Southeast area. We are looking for an experiencedRoof Repair & Maintenance Engineerwith experience of planned and reactive roofing works across a range of systems, including flat, felt, single-ply, and pitched roofs. Work will be predominantly based in the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire areas.

Your role at a glance:

This is a hands-on role where you’ll deliver high-quality roof maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a range of client sites.

You will:
