Job summary

ROCTA Intelligence Analyst role in Stevenage within ERSOU, part of the Eastern Region criminal threat assessment unit. You will interrogate databases, scan for threats, and write strategic products informing regional and national colleagues.

Travel across the region is required, with agile/home-working options. Join a team responsible for scoping, understanding and presenting threats from serious and organised crime, including contributing to the ROCU Strategic Assessment and Quarterly Threat

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with customised databases and computer packages.
• Well-developed numeric, analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexible approach to work and ability to self-motivate.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate databases and systems to identify intelligence of value.
• Conduct daily scanning to assist in understanding threat, risk and vulnerability.
• Maintain understanding of regional threat and write strategic products for ROCTA/ERSOU.
• Present information in ROCU, regional and national forums.
• Research and map OCGs, support OCGM delivery, liaise with forces.
• Undertake project work, scoping, analysing and presenting findings.
• Assist in SOC Tasking using MoRiLE on APMIS.
• Liaise with partners to promote intelligence sharing.
• Produce and maintain Power BI dashboards.
