Job summary

Dogtooth Technologies Limited seeks a motivated student or recent graduate to join its software team in the UK. You will help build dashboards, CV/ML infrastructure, and robot-related software, contributing to autonomous fruit-picking robotics projects.

You will work with software and test engineers, visit customer sites for field feedback, and support performance analysis of robot systems while presenting your work to the team.

Qualifications

• Strong degree in STEM, with knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, analysis.
• Experience with robotics, hardware or firmware.
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, SQL, Bash.
• University student or recent graduate with interest in technology.
• Ability to learn quickly and effectively in various fields.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications relevant to the software team.
• Visit customer sites and provide engineering support, collecting field feedback.
• Support other engineers in their work.
• Assist with performance analysis and improvement of robots and performance models.
• Deliver periodic presentations on the work you’ve done.
• Pragmatic, first-principles approach to analytical problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to defend your point of view.
