Redline Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer - C# for a manufacturing/agricultural robotics environment in the UK. You will develop and test software for autonomous harvesting robots, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, and ensure robust, production-ready code.

Requirements include several years of commercial software engineering experience, strong C#, .NET (or C-family), and robotics exposure. Python is advantageous.

  • Experience within a robotics environment is essential.
  • Experience testing software on hardware and physical systems.
  • Methodical, evidence-driven problem solving using multiple data sources.
  • Strong collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Python experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse logs, user feedback, observations and data to identify improvements and diagnose issues.
  • Investigate and resolve complex bugs using an evidence‑based approach.
  • Test and validate software directly on robotic machines, working with hardware.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritise and deliver features.
  • Ensure software changes are robust, well‑tested and production-ready.

Are you an experienced Robotics Software Engineer - C# actively looking for a new role?

If so, my client has an exciting opportunity available for a talented engineer to join their growing team developing cutting‑edge robotic systems for the agricultural industry. You will play a key role in advancing the capabilities of autonomous harvesting robots, helping to improve usability, performance, accuracy and functionality as the company continues to deploy its technology to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance software capabilities across usability, speed, accuracy and system calibration.
  • Analyse logs, user feedback, observations and experimental data to identify software improvements and diagnose issues.
  • Investigate and resolve complex bugs using an evidence‑based and data‑driven approach.
  • Test and validate your own software directly on robotic machines, working hands‑on with hardware.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to prioritise and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure software changes are robust, well‑tested and suitable for deployment in production environments.
