Job summary

Dogtooth Technologies Limited in the United Kingdom seeks a hands-on engineer to help build and test strawberry-picking robots, and to repair, refurbish and upgrade the existing fleet.

You will work in a small team, following SOPs in cellular manufacturing, testing modules and robots, and supporting RRUs. The role includes lean training, 5S stand-up meetings, bug resolution, and inventory handling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical experience in a related field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment is desirable.
• Interest in manufacturing and technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and test new modules and robots following SOPs.
• Carry out activities in RRUs on Installed Based equipment.
• Receive on-the-job lean manufacturing and problem solving training.
• Participate in 5S works organisation and daily stand-up meetings.
• Raise and resolve bugs affecting products and processes.
• Operate inventory processes and identify exceptions.
