Job summary

Thehumanoid, based in London, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to bridge product development and production across hardware engineering, prototype production, and supply chain. You’ll define DFMA processes, drive manufacturability, and prepare for external contract manufacturing partnerships.

In this fast-paced, cross-functional role you’ll own MBOM/BOP/BOE documentation, develop assembly instructions, and lead continuous improvement across the manufacturing value chain to enable

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialisation, NPI, or Advanced Manufacturing roles.
  • Experience supporting complex electromechanical products in robotics, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly systems, tooling, fixtures, production documentation, and measurement systems.
  • Experience developing MBOMs, BOPs, PFMEAs, process flows, and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Proven ability to work closely with design engineering teams to improve manufacturability.

Responsibilities

  • Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) — establish rapid DFMA feedback loops and identify risks early in design.
  • Development & Production Support — develop assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and test procedures; troubleshoot issues.
