Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Robotics & Controls Engineer to join its Cheltenham team. The role focuses on designing PLC, HMI, network and SCADA systems and integrating industrial robotics within bespoke automation projects.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams, develop control architectures, and participate in in-house testing with occasional international travel for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Write complex software from scratch for control systems.
• Design, program and integrate industrial robotic solutions.
• Willing to travel internationally to project sites and for commissioning.
• Work within factory environments with a hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC, HMI, network and SCADA systems from scratch.
• Design and integrate robotic solutions (FANUC preferred).
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams on control architectures.
• In-house build and test, with UK and North America travel for commissioning.
