Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Robotics & Controls Engineer in Cheltenham to join a UK-based engineering business known for bespoke automation and robotics integration. The role involves hands-on design and development of PLC, HMI, network and SCADA systems, with travel to client sites in the UK and North America as required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and programming PLC, HMI, network and SCADA systems from scratch
• Designing, programming and integrating industrial robotic solutions (FANUC preferred, but not essential)
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams on control architectures
• In-house build and test activities with occasional UK/North America commissioning travel
• Travel internationally for short project assignments as needed
• Write complex software for Allen Bradley Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal
