Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business at Indurent Park, Pride Park, Derby. The role is to maintain and improve equipment performance in a fast-paced production environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automatic presses, conveyors, robotic systems and related machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing or production.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Flexible approach with the ability to work rotating shifts.
• NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or Apprenticeship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns efficiently.
• Maintain and service automated presses, conveyors, robotic systems and associated machinery.
• Complete maintenance records accurately using maintenance management systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.
