Job summary

Allpress Espresso Ltd. is seeking a Production Assistant to support the full coffee production process, including packing orders and ensuring top service as beans are roasted. The ideal candidate shows motivation, energy, great communication, and teamwork.

The role runs on a temporary contract from 1 November 2026 to 31 December 2026, with potential extension. Hours are about 40 per week, with shifts from 6am to 8pm and a 3‑month probation. Prior roastery experience is not required but helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or coffee industry is beneficial.
• No roastery or packaging experience required, but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete coffee production from start to finish.
• Pack orders and ensure customers receive best service.
• Assist with roasting and quality control as needed.

About the role

As an Allpress Production Assistant, you will be involved in the complete coffee production process from start to finish. You will be packing orders; ensuring our customers get the best service and roasting coffee.

The right person for this position will be highly motivated, energetic, have great communication skills and love working as part of a team.

• Self-motivated
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent communicator and able to partner with multiple areas of the business
• A full drivers license is beneficial but not essential for the role.

This role is a on a temporary contract, starting 1st November 2026 until the end of December 2026 with the possibility for extension.

Details:

Hours: 5 days per week around 40 hours per week.

Salary: £30,800 per annum

Days: Monday - Friday (Occassional weekend days are available as overtime)

Times: We operate on a rota with shifts scheduled between 6am and 8pm.

Probation period: 3 months

Contract period: Until end of December 2026 with the posibility for extension

Reporting to: Roastery Manager

Experience: A love for hospitality and the coffee industry is required. No previous roastery or packaging experience is needed but would be beneficial.
