Job description

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team, working across Forest (BB12 9PA), Alma Inn (BB8 7EG), The Fleece (PR3 0YE).

Set on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, The Forest has a large open plan kitchen and restaurant, with a Mediterranean inspired menu that has something for everyone. We have a private dining space, bar & snug area, 8 en-suite hotel rooms, and a large alfresco area.

About you:

  • You are passionate about food, have impeccable standards, and a great team spirit.
  • You will know your way around a kitchen, having worked as a Sous or Junior Sous Chef previously and be ready for your next challenge!
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You have great communication skills.
  • You are ready to support the Head Chef with the running of the Kitchen.
  • You are ready to assist the Head Chef with leading and developing the team.
  • You are ready to assist the Head Chef with the creation of the specials menu.
