Job summary

Care South is seeking a Roaming Head Chef to provide cover across our Dorset Homes. The role requires a full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle for business use, with shifts across multiple locations in Dorset.

The role offers 40 hours over 4 days, including two weekends per month, with a 7:30 AM to 6 PM schedule and a meal on shift. NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Hygiene is required, Level 3 preferred, and induction/training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Hygiene; Level 3 preferred where possible.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cover across Care South Dorset Homes as roaming Head Chef.
• Lead kitchen team and ensure high standards of food safety and quality.
