Argyll and Bute Council invites applications for a Roadworker 2 to join the Roads and Infrastructure team in the Lochgilphead area. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with out-of-hours standby during summer and winter to keep roads safe.

The successful candidate will undertake structural and road maintenance works, including taking part in out of hours standby during summer/winter months to ensure roads are maintained in a safe condition. This is a permanent post, worked 37 hours Monday to Friday.
Previous experience in a roads maintenance environment is essential as is previous experience in road surfacing operations. The successful candidate will also work well as part of a team.
