Job summary

Argyll and Bute Council is seeking a Roadsweeper to cover the Oban area, performing sweeping, litter collection and removal from roads and pavements. The role involves operating standard street cleaning tools as part of a team or individually, with flexible working approaches where possible.

A vacancy has arisen for a Roadsweeper to work in the Oban area for Argyll and Bute.

The successful candidate will undertake undertake either individually or as part of a team, duties concerned with the sweeping, collection and removal of litter, detritus, leaves, weeds, etc, from public places including roads and pavements. These duties will require the use and operation of the usual range of associated tools and equipment.
