Octavius Infrastructure in Hatfield is seeking a Roadspace Planning & Assurance Coordinator to join our team. You will coordinate roadspace and bookings across multiple highway projects, working with project teams and external stakeholders to keep works on track and minimise disruption to road users.

The role emphasizes planning, data accuracy and cross‑disciplinary collaboration, with opportunities to shape roadspace processes and contribute to major infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in roadspace planning or highways operations is preferred.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain records.
• Familiarity with roadspace booking systems and related software required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate roadspace requirements for highways projects.
• Secure roadspace bookings with project teams.
• Attend planning and coordination meetings with clients and teams.
• Liaise with National Highways, TfL, local authorities and partners.
• Manage bookings across roadspace systems including National Highways platforms, AERA and LondonWorks.
• Prepare and submit roadspace applications, TTROs and ETROs.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and programme records.
• Coordinate traffic management requirements with suppliers and designers.
• Identify clashes and risks early and propose solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of roadspace processes.
