Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Roadside Technician for a national breakdown company, based in Wembley. The role involves attending roadside breakdowns, performing mobile repairs, and using diagnostic tools to determine repair options.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair preferred (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience with vehicles, in workshop or mobile role.
• Full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns and assess faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and repair options.
• Provide temporary solutions when full repair isn’t possible and advise on next steps.
