Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members nationwide. You’ll work from home basing in your local area, tackling a variety of roadside calls with confidence and professionalism.

You’ll carry out diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support across the UK, using provided tools and RAC resources to keep members moving. The role offers a base salary with strong OTE, plus benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide emergency breakdown support and reassuring customer service on every call.
• Start and finish your day from home, with RAC van, fuel card and toolkit provided.
