The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic in the United Kingdom. You will work as a patrol, starting and finishing from home/driveway, with shifts offering flexibility and vary across patterns.

You will be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, delivering roadside assistance and customer service in all weather. You’ll earn guaranteed year 1 earnings of £38,270 with OTE up to £60,000 based on top performers.

Formación

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
• Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology with provided tools.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

• Starting and finishing on your driveway, paid from the moment you get in your van.
• Work independently across varied locations and conditions while staying part of a supportive team.

Shifts: As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

What will I be doing?

• Starting and finishing on your driveway paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Working independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
• Using your technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solving problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.

What do I need?

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.
