The AA, the UK's largest motoring organisation, is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic. As a patrol, you’ll be the friendly face who keeps members moving, starting and finishing on your driveway, and providing on‑the‑spot repairs across varied locations.

You’ll use your technical knowledge and calm approach to deliver a positive customer experience in all weather conditions. You’ll work flexible shifts with a 40-hour average week and opportunities to fit your personal schedule.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.

Shifts

As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. More importantly you’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation. To our members, you’re the superhero.
