The AA is seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our nationwide service. You will work on average a 40 hour week with flexible shift patterns and be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, helping members get back on the road quickly.

You’ll use your technical knowledge to diagnose and repair roadside issues, communicate clearly with customers, and work independently across varied locations while contributing to a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
• Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology with provided tools.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Shifts

As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

Roadside Rescue Mechanic

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can on. What do I need

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.
