Job summary

WeBuyVintage is seeking a Roadshow Assistant to support our mobile events across the UK. You will ensure hospitality, maintain high event quality, and manage on-site venue interactions while helping customers understand what items we buy.

The role requires building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. The position offers a 4-day working week, travel within close reach of home, and a competitive salary of £26,000 per year with access to employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, retail, social work or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to explain processes and information clearly and simply.
• Full UK Driving Licence - our locations are sometimes not accessible by public transport.

Responsibilities

• Hospitality: be the first and last face customers see, build rapport and ensure comfort at roadshows.
• Event quality: ensure consistency across all roadshows with banners, signs, biscuits, music and ambience.
• On the day venue management: liaise with bookings and venue teams, communicate safety messages, be the on-site contact.
• Product triage: help customers understand what items we buy and manage expectations.
• Customer experience: be empathetic to customers, including those who are distressed, and show trust in WeBuyVintage.
