Essex Police is recruiting for a Permanent, full-time role in Basildon to support road safety and process road traffic offences. The role involves handling evidence, inputting information, and assisting frontline Roads Policing officers, with a Mon-Fri pattern and a starting salary of £27,204.00.

Responsibilities

• Process road traffic offences and review supporting evidence and documentation.
• Assess camera-captured offences and progress cases in line with legislation, policy, and force procedures.
• Respond professionally, fairly, and empathetically to enquiries from members of the public via telephone, email, and correspondence.
• Accurately input, maintain, and retrieve information using police systems and databases.
• Complete case checks, escalation reports, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
• Support frontline Roads Policing officers through effective administrative and case management processes.
• Work to performance targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and support the development and induction of new team members where required.
