Job summary

Hackney Borough Council is recruiting an exceptional Road & Traffic CCTV Team Leader to join the new CCTV Enforcement Team within Parking & Markets Service. You will manage a Borough-wide CCTV operation and lead a small team responsible for parking, moving traffic and bus lane enforcement.

You will ensure compliance with legislation and council policies, maintain accurate records, and drive proactive approaches to change driver behaviour.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence
• Satisfactory DBS disclosure
• BTEC Qualification in CCTV Traffic Operation

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and CCTV cameras across the borough for parking, moving traffic and bus lane enforcement.
• Understand localised parking and traffic issues and drive enforcement actions in line with legislation and Council policies.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on performance; contribute to Parking Enforcement Plan.
