Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking an experienced Road Sweeper Driver for a long-term role in Assington, Sudbury. You will operate, maintain and support road sweeper operations on site, contributing to cleanliness and safety across the works.

Role requires relevant licences, DQC, DCPC and a Blue CSCS card; prior experience on construction or infrastructure projects is essential. Hours are from 07:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, with a 6+ month duration.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving Licence: Category C OR C+E OR C1 OR C1+E.
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) present.
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) required.
• CSCS Card (Blue) Road Sweeper & Gully Sucking.
• Previous experience on construction or infrastructure sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate road sweeper vehicle safely on site and surrounding works.
• Maintain site cleanliness per environmental and safety standards.
• Support site logistics and traffic management teams.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.

Road Sweeper Driver

Location: Assington, Sudbury, CO10 5LY

Duration: 6 Months+

Hours: 07:30 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

Pay rate: £23.58

A leading infrastructure contractor is currently seeking an experienced Road Sweeper Driver to join the team based in Assington, Sudbury, CO10 5LY.

Duties of the Road Sweeper Driver include:

• Operating a road sweeper vehicle safely within the site compound and surrounding works
• Maintaining site cleanliness in line with environmental and safety standards
• Supporting site logistics and traffic management teams
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring compliance with all site health & safety procedures

Requirements for the Road Sweeper Driver role:

• Valid Driving Licence: Category C OR C+E OR C1 OR C1+E
