Job summary

Warwickshire Police in Rugby is seeking a Supervisor for the Warwickshire Road Safety Unit to oversee administration and frontline speed enforcement support. The role combines leadership of a small team, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with national guidelines and legislation.

You will coordinate workload, guide staff, and respond to public requests while maintaining high standards of professional service and ethical policing across the Warwickshire Police Area.

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level/NVQ Level 3.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and its workplace application.
• Thorough knowledge of Road Traffic Law relating to speeding offences.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to ensure team members are inspired and motivated.
• Coordinate Warwickshire Road Safety Demand on a daily basis.
• Provide ethical decision making in demand management.
• Monitor and support workflow and ensure effective team working.
• Respond to initial public complaints and escalate as needed.
• Update force systems in line with policy and legislative requirements.
• Collate and provide management information as requested.
