Job summary

Midlothian Council seeks a Policy and Road Safety Technician to support the Place directorate at Fairfield House. Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or related fields.
• Ability to analyse statistics and determine engineering solutions.
• Understanding of legal aspects of managing the public road network.
• Experience reporting and negotiating with stakeholders.
• Understanding of accident statistics.
