Job summary

WR Logistics in Warrington is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to manage domestic, import/export and European cross-trade shipments, taking ownership of the full forwarding process.

You'll coordinate day-to-day road-freight operations, arrange UK import customs clearances, and prepare competitive pricing, liaising with customers, suppliers and overseas partners. The role offers a permanent, office-based position with a salary of £35,000–£38,000 and a Monday-to-Friday 9am–5pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Five years' European road-freight experience.
• Experience in a freight-forwarding environment.
• Knowledge of UK and EU customs procedures.
• Experience managing European cross-trade movements.
• Familiarity with ADR shipments.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivation and organisation.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

An established international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its Warrington road-freight team.

This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-supported operation with a strong European network and a varied customer base. You will manage shipments from start to finish, giving you genuine ownership rather than handling only one part of the forwarding process.

The role
