Job summary

MCS Group in Belfast is recruiting a Business Development Manager for Road Freight to drive new business and revenue within an allocated territory. You will generate your own leads, cold call prospects and convert opportunities into profitable accounts.

The role offers a salary between £42,500 and £50,000 plus uncapped commission, a £5,308 car allowance and potential company car, with hours 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, plus pension and life cover.

Qualifications

• Experience in road freight, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proven new-business / BDM experience.
• Strong cold-calling and prospecting skills.
• A driven, commercially focused approach.
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own leads and drive new business within an allocated territory.
