Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) for Hylton Grange in Sunderland. You’ll join a forward‑thinking provider delivering high‑acuity care to adults with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities.

The role emphasizes person‑centred nursing and a supportive, skilled team around you. You will provide skilled nursing care, participate in training and development pathways, and work flexibly across full‑time or part‑time shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience delivering person-centred nursing care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for residents.
• Provide person-centred and evidence-based nursing care.
• Develop collaborative care plans through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Safe administration of medication.
• Promote health and wellbeing, dignity and independence.
• Act as Nurse in Charge on shift for a small unit.
