Qualifications

• Experience within Quality Assurance, Technical, Food Safety, Food Manufacturing or a similar compliance-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to carry out inspections, quality checks, sampling and accurate record keeping.
• Confident using IT systems, including Excel, to manage data, analyse trends and produce reports.
• Experience within aquaculture or fish farming is welcomed, especially with fish quality assessment and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the quality and condition of incoming salmon and trout raw materials.
• Carrying out inspections, sampling and quality checks.
• Monitoring compliance with food safety, quality and accreditation standards.
• Managing quality data, analysing trends and producing reports.
• Investigating non-conformances and supporting corrective actions.
• Working closely with production, technical and aquaculture teams.
• Providing feedback to farming partners and external stakeholders.
• Supporting audits, traceability exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
