Job summary

Vetro Recruitment seeks a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a neurological care facility in Pontypridd. You will assess, treat and rehabilitate residents with complex neurological needs, including dementia and brain injury, with day, night, and weekend shifts available.

The role requires valid NMC PIN and MH experience; you will work within safeguarding standards and MDT, delivering person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration with current PIN and mental health experience.
• Experience in mental health or neurological care environments, including secure settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, restraint (PMVA), and recovery-focused practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor side effects per neurological care standards.
• Review and update care plans aligned with sector frameworks.
• Collaborate with MDT and families to refine care and treatment plans.
• Support residents’ social, religious and physical needs to promote recovery.
• Ensure safeguarding protocols and ethical restraint use.
