Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a committed Registered Nurse to join a dementia-focused care home in the Partington, Manchester area. You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care, assess residents' needs, and work with families and the care team to maintain wellbeing and safety.

The role requires an active NMC PIN. We offer a salary of £22.25 per hour (up to £55,536 annual), permanent day and night shifts, pension, thorough induction, paid training, and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience in care setting preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and identify priorities of care.
• Administer all medication and treatments within NMC guidelines and policy.
• Ensure care plans are completed and maintained with residents, relatives and other health care professionals.
• Report ill-health and request GP/professional visits when necessary.

This special nursing home has been designed for the needs of people living with dementia

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key responsibilities include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
• Proven experience of working in a care setting

• Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
