Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces, upholding Health and Safety best practices to prevent downtime and protect colleagues.

You will help boost equipment availability and improve the operational environment across our fulfilment network. Based on-site, you will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support apprentices while contributing to continuous improvement projects and rollout of best practices across

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
