Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and workspaces, upholding Health and Safety best practices. Based on-site, you will respond quickly to machinery issues, perform planned maintenance, and support apprentices while working across shifts to keep operations running smoothly.

You will interact with senior colleagues and contractors, contribute to continuous improvement, and help implement new technologies like robotics and automation to reduce downtime

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ/IVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or 4 years UK certified apprenticeship
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
• Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
