Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and uphold health and safety standards across our fulfilment network.

Based on-site, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep machinery running and reduce downtime. You’ll work with the latest tools, support on-site apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement projects across EU sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule/shift, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in engineering fields.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.

Skills

Experience in engineering

Electrical or mechanical engineering

Education
