Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to perform proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment across our fulfilment network.

You’ll respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement swift fixes while upholding health and safety standards. Working on site, you’ll support apprentices, participate in continuous improvement projects, and help roll out best practices across EU sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year UK certified apprenticeship.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer and maintenance technician.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
