Bishops Mill in Salisbury, part of Greene King, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager or Head Chef to run the busy kitchen. You will lead the team from the front, maintain high standards across food quality, presentation and service, and prepare for coach parties, summer weekends and events.

You’ll manage stock, control costs, ensure allergens and safety compliance, coach and develop staff, and work closely with the General Manager to hit food and commercial goals while keeping the kitchen

Formación

• Experience leading a busy kitchen.
• Ability to coach and develop a kitchen team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens and kitchen compliance.
• Proven track record in managing stock, cost and GP.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the kitchen and lead the team from the front.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Organise the kitchen for busy services and large groups.
• Manage stock takes, ordering, rotation and wastage.
• Monitor kitchen costs and contribute to a commercially successful operation.
• Work with the General Manager to hit pub food and commercial goals.
