Job summary

Qualifications

• Experienced pricing professional with strong background in statistical modelling (GLMs/GBMs) and pricing governance.
• Knowledge of fair value requirements and governance processes.
• Experience reviewing model changes and managing technical projects.

Job description

I am working with a major personal lines insurer looking for a Risk Pricing Manager to join their pricing function.

The role will focus on advancing pricing models and algorithms, taking ownership of key modelling frameworks and ensuring they remain accurate, effective and commercially relevant. You will lead technical projects from initial design through to implementation, assess portfolio data to identify opportunities for improvement, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders. You will also act as a technical point of reference for the team, supporting model validation, governance and the development of other analysts.

Open to experienced pricing professionals with a strong background in statistical modelling, particularly GLMs and GBMs, alongside an understanding of pricing governance and fair value requirements. Experience with Radar, Emblem, SQL, Python or Databricks, as well as managing technical projects and reviewing model changes, would be particularly beneficial.

The position offers hybrid working and the opportunity to influence the technical direction of a personal lines pricing function.
