Job summary

Eames Consulting Group is partnering with a well-established personal lines insurer to recruit a Lead Pricing Analyst. You will own complex pricing initiatives and develop predictive models to improve portfolio performance.

You will analyse claims trends, assess changes in risk costs, and deliver recommendations to senior stakeholders while coaching junior analysts and helping shape the wider pricing approach. Hybrid working is available with flexible patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing analytics for personal lines or insurance.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS or SQL.
• Knowledge of modelling techniques such as GLMs, GBMs and GAMs.
• Experience with machine learning and model implementation.
• Ability to coach analysts and contribute to team development.

The role will involve taking ownership of complex pricing initiatives, developing and refining predictive models, and identifying opportunities to improve portfolio performance. You will analyse claims trends, assess changes in risk costs and deliver recommendations to senior stakeholders, while also supporting the development of other analysts and helping shape the wider pricing approach.

Open to experienced pricing professionals with strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS or SQL, alongside knowledge of modelling techniques such as GLMs, GBMs and GAMs. Experience with machine learning, model implementation and coaching analysts would be particularly beneficial.
