Job summary

TLT LLP is seeking an experienced solicitor to join the Risk & Partnerships team in the UK. You will manage the full lifecycle of partnership office matters, coordinate onboarding, integrations and retirements, and work closely with HR and Finance to ensure governance compliance.

You'll draft and maintain key partnership documents, handle regulatory and compliance matters including practising certificates and indemnity notifications, and contribute to policy reviews.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE, or equivalent governance experience in a law firm.
• Experience in risk management and partnership office or governance matters.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills; proactive and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

Job description

Your Role

• Managing and supporting the full lifecycle of partnership office matters, including lateral partner onboarding, integration and retirements, liaising closely with HR and Finance throughout these processes
• Drafting, reviewing and maintaining partnership documentation, including the deed of partnership, member agreements, partner terms, and ancillary governance documents
• Supporting partner-related regulatory and compliance matters, including practising certificate renewals, professional indemnity notifications, and the maintenance of accurate partnership records
• Conducting periodic reviews of firm policies and procedures, recommending and implementing updates as appropriate
• Providing support on strategic and operational matters, including firm-wide risk with internal and external stakeholders on risk-related matters
• Advising on matters relating to the SRA Standards and Regulations, Principles and Codes of Conduct, and the equivalent requirements of the Law Society of Scotland, the Law Society of Northern Ireland and the Law Society of Ireland, engaging with the relevant regulators as required
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and team members across the firm's office locations

Your Skills & Experience

• Qualification as a Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE, or equivalent professional experience, together with demonstrable experience in risk management and partnership office or governance matters within a law firm environment
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills, combined with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities within demanding timeframes
• A genuine commitment to a collaborative working culture, with the enthusiasm and capability to support the professional development of junior team members
