  • Visit all Area Operations Managers in the region on a monthly rotational basis to ensure an understanding of local risks and develop strong working relationships.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to review risks with the internal stakeholders at risk review meetings.
  • Work with asset management, enterprise risk, and operational teams to build a longer-term understanding of risk and plans to feed into the AMP planning process.
We are looking for you to have
  • Have extensive risk management experience, preferably within the water utilities industry, who can effectively own, manage and escalate risks and issues as they arise.
  • Be comfortable adapting your communication style to delivery teams as well as more corporate senior stakeholders, and you will display demonstrable experience of this.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, advanced Excel and Power BI.
  • Having the ability to articulate business cases linked to benefits and risks is crucial to the success of this role.
  • Month-end processes, forecasting, budgets and accrual calculations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Competitive salary £50,000 per annum, depending on your level of skills and experience.
  • Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus, bank holidays).
  • Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
  • Personal Medical Assessments – Open to all once a year.
  • Generous Paternity Leave, including 4 weeks paid and an optional 2 weeks unpaid.
