Job description

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England. As a key member of our Safety & Risk Team, you will support a longstanding client in delivering diverse flood and coastal projects. You will serve as the technical lead for the region and manage a team responsible for principal designer and CDM advisor duties across various schemes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a successful consultancy experiencing an exciting period of expansion.

About the Role

• Manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants across the Southwest region.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Project Managers, and external partners within the client organization.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility through design and construction phases.
• Ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental, and health & safety standards.
• Maintain Chartered Safety Professional status.
• Have a sound knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach and innovative mindset.
• Willingness to work away from the office temporarily.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and maintain excellent record-keeping.
