Job summary

Aberdeen in Edinburgh is seeking a Risk & Compliance Coordinator to support governance, reporting and operation within the Risk & Compliance function. You will be a central point of coordination across stakeholders, ensuring timely actions and consistent delivery of governance activities.

Based in Edinburgh, this permanent role offers development opportunities, exposure to senior leaders and the chance to work with AI-enabled tools while developing executive support and coordination skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders, leadership teams or governance-related activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel, and an interest in learning and using AI tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, highly organised and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational, governance and administrative support to the Risk & Compliance Leadership Team.
  • Support meeting and committee management activities, ensuring actions, decisions and deliverables are tracked effectively.
  • Assist with governance processes, management information production and the maintenance of high-quality records and documentation.
  • Support purchase order administration, planning activities and budget-related processes as required.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites, distribution lists and document repositories, ensuring information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion while supporting internal communications and stakeholder engagement activities across the function.

  • As a Risk & Compliance Coordinator, you will play an important role in helping our Risk & Compliance function operate effectively, supporting the governance and decision-making processes that help Aberdeen deliver better outcomes for clients

  • Risk & Compliance plays a critical role in supporting Aberdeen's long-term success by helping the business make informed decisions, manage risk effectively and maintain strong governance standards

  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, the team provides oversight, coordination and support that helps ensure our business operates responsibly and efficiently
