Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is offering a two‑year Risk Apprentice position in London. The programme blends classroom study with hands‑on risk and compliance experience, designed to build practical skills and industry knowledge while you work.

We’ll pay your salary and cover the cost of your studies, giving you the opportunity to complete a fully funded level 3 apprenticeship in Compliance & Risk. Alongside this, you’ll build transferable skills that can open doors across the financial services sector, and gain valuable experience at the heart of a bank that supports millions of businesses and customers.

Requirements
What you’ll need

• You’ll need to be at least 18 years old on 1st September 2027

• 5 GCSEs at grade 4 – 9 including Maths and English (Achieved)

**Important information**

An additional requirement for the apprenticeship position is that you must currently possess a valid Right to Work in the UK. Your visa end date must extend beyond the duration of the apprenticeship programme, which will last up to two years.

Due to Home Office requirements regarding Skilled Workers, we’re unable to accept applications for visa sponsorship for our apprenticeship roles as the proposed salary for the role does not meet the minimum threshold – if this situation applies to you, please consider looking for other vacancies which may be more suitable.

Location

This apprenticeship is based in London and you will be expected to work from the local office throughout the programme. While our hybrid working policy requires office attendance at least two days per week (40% for full‑time colleagues), apprentices are expected to be in the office most days during the initial settling‑in period.

If your commute exceeds 1.5 hours, we strongly recommend relocating closer to the office to ensure consistent attendance in line with contractual and hybrid working expectations.
