Job Description:

Our client, a leading specialist in employment and business immigration law, is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee the development and management of internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

The role involves managing reporting obligations to the SRA, delivering compliance training, and conducting file audits to uphold client care and confidentiality standards. You will work closely with the Data Protection Manager to ensure GDPR compliance and manage secure file transfers. As the main contact for internal conduct and ethics queries, you will provide guidance to fee earners and support the firm’s COFA and senior leadership in maintaining financial and operational compliance.

Requirements include at least five years’ experience in a similar legal sector role and a strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a methodical approach, resilience in high-pressure environments, and be highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities both independently and within a team.
