Job summary

Liberis in London is seeking a risk professional to strengthen second-line oversight as the company merges with Qred. You will develop and embed the risk framework, conduct independent reviews and move testing toward continuous, automated monitoring.

Based in London with a hybrid approach, you’ll collaborate with a global risk team, challenge assumptions and provide practical recommendations to support responsible growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering risk management or independent review work.
• Understanding risk frameworks, risk appetite and controls in practice.
• Ability to turn regulatory requirements and risk findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
• Interest in using AI and systems to improve risk monitoring, and a willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the risk framework, including policies, instructions and risk appetite statements, and support its implementation through training and day-to-day guidance.
• Contribute to the annual second-line risk plan, using risk assessments to identify processes and areas needing independent review.
• Plan and deliver risk reviews, assess whether controls are working, and communicate clear findings and practical recommendations.
• Help automate control testing and key risk indicator monitoring, using systems and AI tools to make oversight more continuous and effective.
• Stay close to the business to identify emerging risks, including regulatory changes and internal processes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independent oversight and challenging assumptions.
