Job summary

Tsl Lighting Ltd. is seeking a proactive Trainee Production Technician to start in the warehouse, preparing, servicing and testing equipment, then progressing to on-site duties with clients and event crews.

You will support Lighting Designers, host visiting LDs, and assist with CAD drawings and show prep. A strong focus on accuracy, initiative, and professional representation of the company is essential.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience drafting proposals or presenting ideas to clients or partners.
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative in a fast-changing environment.
Ability to influence and solve problems across the business.
Good working knowledge of lighting and rigging equipment; IT skills including CAD/Depence and Excel.

Responsibilities

Load/unload equipment from vehicles; manual handling of bulky gear.
Provide support to other teams and assist on various business activities.
Support Lighting Designers and freelance LDs; work on WYSIWYG & CAD drawings training.
Host and coordinate visiting LDs/clients; configure systems in advance.
Identify training needs and organise relevant courses.
Provide on-site technical support across products and projects.
Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; update clients and progress in systems.
