Job summary

Neg Earth Lights Ltd. in London is seeking an Equipment Technician to prepare and maintain lighting fixtures for hire, ensuring quality and safety. You will clean, test, update software, scan barcodes and manage repairs within schedule while supporting PAT testing for moving lights and LED fixtures.

• At least basic experience in fault finding and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and preparing lighting equipment for hire, including cleaning, testing, software updates, addressing of units and barcode scanning.
• Ensuring fixtures and fixings are prepared to the correct standard and within timescales.
• Prioritising equipment repairs to agreed standards and ensuring test certificates are applied.
• Undertaking small repair work on fixtures as required and assisting in PAT testing for Moving Lights.
• Provide technical support to Neg Earth colleagues, freelance crew and production crew.
• Maintain records, spot equipment failure trends and collaborate with stakeholders.
