SIG Roofing is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Colchester to support branch operations, drive sales and service excellence, and lead a motivated team. The role covers counter, yard, and admin duties, with a focus on safety and efficient operations.

You will assist the Branch Manager in day-to-day running, build relationships with customers and suppliers, and help deliver great service and specialist products across the branch network.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in sales or customer service within construction/materials sector preferred.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Confidence in working toward targets and delivering excellent service.
• Counterbalance FLT licence is a bonus; training can be provided.

Responsabilités

• Support the Branch Manager in the smooth and profitable running of the branch.
• Assist in sales and margin target delivery across the branch.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ensure efficient stock control, pricing and timely deliveries.
• Champion health and safety compliance across the branch.
• Support vehicle maintenance, pre-shift checks and branch infrastructure.
• Lead by example and motivate a service-driven team.
• Identify growth opportunities and respond to competitor activity.
• Be hands-on in trade counter, yard or admin tasks.
